Well if you look at the success of the star wars novels, you would
think that JK would allow someone to start a new series of harry
potter. You have enough info to prequel stories with the marauders, or
maybe a harry potter and the aurors series, I mean just cause
voldemort is dead does not mean there are no more dark wizards out
there, and you know that harry would be a huge target for any
remaining death eaters, or any dark wizard. We know from Jk interviews
that harry later on in life became head of the aurors. So you could
start your series there, and you can always have his best buds
included in the stories, and possibly his kids, I mean come on, harry
potter and Ginny Weasly kids would get into some exciting adventures.
throw in ron's and hermoine's kids and you have another group of marauders

John:
I would start the second series right after Voldemort's death, as Shacklebolt becomes Minister of Magic; that is when the most changes, and the most story ideas, can come into play. Many characters are dead, but many are still alive and they are the ones who will have to deal with the deaths and changes around them. The one death I was really unhappy to see was Fred Weasley -- losing him had to be devastating for George and the rest of the family. Even so, it brings up story ideas for how his family deals with it, and what happens to Weasleys' Wizard Wheezes afterwards.  Seven more books, for example, spread over the first 7 or 8 years after Voldemort's death, could chronicle the changes that Wizarding Britain goes through to usher in the relatively peaceful time that JK showed happening Sept 1, 2017 on Platform 9 and 3/4.
