John: I woudn't say it's obvious. Many people have found other plotlines of interest in the HP books beyond the primay one of Harry vs. Voldemort. I agree that the ideas I mentioned are minor, but I didn't give out any of the major ideas that future books could explore.
Hi Heather, I can see at least five more books worth of stories to write about. Harry and Ron still need to become Aurors. Draco and his parents are still alive. There are still problems to deal with concerning house-elves, goblins and centaurs. People will still get married and have children of their own. Neville becomes the professor of Herbology at Hogwarts -- how does that happen? Harry maintains a friendship with Dudley -- what goes on there? There are a lot more ideas that can be explored within the Wizarding world. The amount of HP fan fiction out there attests to that. Even if you discount the non-serious stuff and the alternate universes where Harry dies, or other character who did die are still alive, you still have a lot of ideas to explore. John
