In the book, Harry heard Voldemort's voice say, "Kill the spare," then Wormtail saying the Killing Curse. so he probably associated Cedric's death with Voldemort's order. He was also in terrible pain from his scar and Voldemort's nearness. In the movie it's a little less plausible, since he watches Wormtail kill Cedric. Technically, Voldemort and Wormtail are both guilty of murdering Cedric, but also technically, Wormtail performed the deed, at Voldemort's order.
