In my personal oppinion the movies have been vary bad for Snape, he is not as mean in the books. To everyone who only witch the movies I highly racomind that you go and try reading the books! They are vary good books.

Snape did NOT care about Harry very much in the movies, in Order of the phoenix when he was teaching Harry Occulamency ( thats not spelled right) Snape grabbed him by the shirt and was very verbally mean to him. In my humble oppinion when some one cares about some one they don't treat them like that. They don't slam the family.
