I think that she should have explained them a little better like she never explained how lupin and tonks died or who killed them; I think that Fred should have lived I think it was very silly that she killed him off, I think it was only right that snape died but he did redeem himself in the end though.
Also I think that more of the death eaters should have died, I mean she killed off lupin and tonks but let Lucius Malfoy live after everything that happened with him why did she not kill him off and finally let Draco feel what its like to live without the love of a parent.
I have to admit I did not expect Dobby to die but then I had not been expecting him to have such an important role in the book, but I think that dobby would be the proudest house elf in the world to know that he died helping Harry potter the one wizard he truly admired.
And then Dumbledore, well I cried when I read that part of the half blood prince but I think Harry needed to do this on his own he needed to find the strength within himself to lead the order to victory. And I think that probably the saddest after Dumbledore’s was Colin Creevy’s little brother who died in the battle of Hogwarts, I mean you just know he stayed to fight because he looked up to Harry so much.

Subject: [Harry Potter Official Club] How do you feel about the character deaths?
Here is how I feel about the significant character deaths book 5-7.
I was pretty sad when Dumbledore died, and really surprised. I was
near tears at his death, it was so depressing. I'm not too bothered
by Snape's death other than fact the unfortunate man died before he
could really live, happy and free. And that he didn't live long
enought to make a reconciliation with Harry. Lupin and Tonk's
deaths were understandable, it was sad, but i think it was necessary
for them to die. I mean, to be realistic not everybody you like;
not everybody on the good side is going to survive the war. I am
only sad that Teddy Lupin never got to know what a great man his
father is. Mad-eye, that crazy wizard has Paranoia Personality
Disorder, I swear! It's a shame he died, but you know, someone like
him would want to go down fighting, in the line of duty instead of
old age...or some boating accident.
I disagree with Fred's death the most. I mean 'the Weasley twins'
are just not 'the Weasley twins' anymore without Fred. They work so
well together as a team, and they are so attached to each other.
Most, if not all the scenes that feature Fred and George have them
together, finishing each other's sentences and whatnot. The way
they do everything; break the rules, open a shop, pick on Ron,
fight, laugh... It's just not the same with one of them gone. I
mean eventually they will move apart and start their own families,
but you know, I just wish they were still Gred and Forge.
Sirius...ah yes Sirius. Till the very end of book 7, I was waiting
for him to come back to life--i mean his death was a bit
mysterious. I never liked the fact that he died. I really wanted
him to truly live (like Snape) and develop a growing relationship
with Harry. I know Harry has lots of ppl that care about him, but to
see him lose someone so dear is heartbreaking.
Dobby...i never would have guessed his death, never. It was quite
the emotional scene. His burial was really something. "Here Lies
Dobby, a Free Elf". Hegwig...poor thing. :( (okay, not very
significant, but whatever.)
Did I miss anyone? (other than Mr. Tom Riddle Jr.?)
