There is a preschool/picture type book that my boys loved long after they'd
given up other books because of the illustrations made from clay. It is
called "Have You Seen Birds?" by Joanne Oppenheim. It is rhyming verse and
covers a wide variety of birds. And then there's the cat throughout the
book. Yes, they loved it right along with their copy of Owl Moon. I'm sure
Amazon would carry it and you might be able to see inside to check out a few
pages.
