[Bookroom] getting my home library into my computer...

I don't usually post, just read, but I thought I'd ask this great
group of homeschoolers for some advice.

I want to put info of all our books, music cds, movie dvds/videos
into a sortable and printable list on our computer. So I'm looking
for a program that I can do this with using a laser barcode
scanner. I've looked online and have found 2 companies that sell
this for about $200 (including the scanner),

I don't know anything about these companies, except that one is from
the Netherlands and the other is from California. I'd like to read
some trustworthy reviews on these types of programs, but I haven't
found much info online. In fact, these are the only 2 companies I
could find that sell these types of programs. I'm sure there are
others, I just don't know where to look.

So, can you tell me if you know anything about either one or can
recommend either? Or can you recommend another company or program?
