1. Advertisements for eBay auctions MUST INCLUDE the word "EBAY" as the first word of the e-mail's subject. Our readers *deeply* appreciate this, both those who are avidly seeking your books and those who are not buying at a particular time.
2. Members may advertise LIVING *or collectible* books, games,toys, audios, videos, or similar items currently listed at eBay. If you're selling car parts, antique furniture, baby clothes, Greek lessons, math texts, or helps for Christian living, we do hope that you get great prices for them, but please don't specifically mention those auctions here. We're not a catch-all advertising spot. We've got to draw the line somewhere and this is it.
3. Sellers, if you want your auctions to be easily found by our members, ***please include your user ID and keep any links to 50 characters or less***. YAHOO WILL DAMAGE LONGER LINKS!
Your eBay "About ME" page URL will work with Yahoo, but most other eBay links *won't* work with Yahoo. You can create a short link from any lengthy eBay link at

I'll post your auction advertisement with whatever link you submit--
and will post a correction of a bad link if you send one, but it is up to YOU to check your link. I won't do that for you.
4. Sellers may send an advertising post either once every seven days or once for every set of auctions, whichever is LESS.
5. You are welcome to include a link to your eBay auctions (or business) in your signature file. This permits a small, discreet advertisement with every *on topic* post you make. (Off topic posts are deleted.)
6. Remember that your moderator is a wife and mother first of all; she doesn't live on the Internet. :-) If you choose to post your auctions in their last 24 hours, there is a chance that I will be unable to approve your advertisement before your auctions end. (If the auctions have ended, your post will normally be deleted.)
If your post is deleted, you will not receive a notice. It will simply not be seen by list members. Feel free to check the rules and try again!
