Hi Kimberly,

That research was done over 10 years ago. Since I did the original work, with the growth
of the Internet especially, many books that were at one time scarce can now be easily
purchased for $5-10.

Demand for a few titles has increased during that time, too, and demand tends to create
scarcity. At long last, it was my opinion that my 10 year old research had become not
much better than no research at all. In the case of some titles, it had become worse. :-)

It's for this reason that I've decided to remove this feature from my page.

For particular titles, bookfinder.com or used.addall.com will show you the number of
copies of various books currently available on the Internet. That should be a good guide to
general availability, but not a good predictor of what you'll be most likely to find in your
area.
